Background: Infernum Expectat

Infernum Expectat is one of the rising Metal bands in Egypt, it combines the dynamic Melodic Death Metal with Progressive Metal techniques and sounds

Although it is formed in 2011, the band released its earliest singles in 2016, entitled "War of Obsession".

Infernum Expectat hit the stage twice: the first was the latest Metal Grinders concert alongside Mythos, Segadoras, and Bovem, and the second was Hot Live Fumes alongside the legendary international Egyptian Metal band Odious.

The Review

The track is opened with dynamic melodic lines accompanied with strong brutal vocals. This strong, active mood lasted for two minutes to 2:09. this first part of the song has no keys sounds, or symphonic mood. I liked the harmonies various usage of vocals techniques in the first part of the track. Actually the usage of keys within the extreme music part decreased in comparison with the previous Infernum Expectat's release "War of Obsession".

From 2:09 to 2:38,  a beautiful clean, calm part, we can say, this part is closer to an interlude to break the darkened taste of the music. It carries different ambient/atmospheric touches. While from 2:38 to 3:01, the sounds become more sadder, deeper, and more soul-touching.

In 3:01, the music is turned to the extreme mood again, with more headbanging motive till the outro in 4:43.

The outro of the track is more intro ambient/atmospheric sound, and it is calm and impressive one, it carries a wonderful work of strings.

Conclusion

In general, the track is nice one, it is very powerful, catchy and dynamic, the usage of progressive elements is good.

"Her Majesty" is an evidence for the musical improvement in Infernum Expectat style, but my only negative comment is quality and mixing process, I hope the band could produce its music in a better quality.
