It is my first time to review a “LIBYAN” Metal Release, and I am really impressed of what those fighters who standing on golden sand and under air strikes did. Hails brothers of sand, sea. and boarders.
The album is opened with a short depressive track “Born Into Miserable World”. With sounds of chanting, strings and keys, Oydis managed to portrait the whole misery and chaos that hit Libya perfectly.
Next is “Mind Pollution”, a dynamic track with heavy tunes that carries waves of anger and rage. Then, “Morbid World” is a nice continuation for the previous one.
But, “Morbid World” carries more Bass line techniques and carries a higher accurate harmony.
“Internal Strife” is the following track. It is a real war portrait painted from darkened melodies and enraged tunes in addition to blasting drum warinfluenced.
While “Joker” is a crazy track which employes demonic spoken parts within the melodies to create a theatrical act of a real psychopathic criminal. And, “Paid Emperor” has the same melodic and energetic mood of the previous track.
“Seven Deadly Sins” is a great interlude in the middle of the album. It carries oriental strings influenced with the glory of the Arabic Libyan sands.
Next is “Greed and Glutting” and it is the heaviest and most extreme track in the whole album.
After that comes “Nuclearblast Assault” featuring Mustafa Darby. It is the best track in the albumbecause it is will mixed and well composed. Its intro somehow rings bells with classic Metallica stuff as One.
The following one is “The Curse Of Ego”. It was short, concentrated and full of dynamic headbanging riffs.
Finally, “Judgement Day”, it is so special track, impressive. Although its angry, active sound, it carries wonderful outro that could be a perfect end of the album.
In general, the album is very good. The tracks are good written and performed. The only problemis some mixing issues especially in the first track. Moreover, I hope that the band use more various techniques and mood.
