5 hours ago, Swedish iconic Doom/Death Metal Band October Tide released a new music video entitled “Ögonblick Åv Nåd”. This track will be the last released single from October Tide’s forthcoming album “In Splendor Below”. The album will be released this Friday via Agonia Records.
From colors of black and red, playing with light and shadow, “Ögonblick Åv Nåd” carries its main artistic technique. As the shades of black represent human’s depression, pain, sick soul, while red represent rage, demonic feelings, and it also refers to the hidden monster inside each one of us.
From the eatliest seconds, you will catch your own monster and it will ride you inside angry, depressed riffs!
A unique taste of sorrow and rage scripted beautifully in terms of music and vocals. The lights harmoniously accompanied the movements of the music.
I liked the idea of not focusing on OT face expressions and making them appeared in video without focusing on their identities. They are humans talk about humans.
The track is really wonderful. I am a big fan for depressed enraged mood. Think of a wounded soul which lost everything, it watches everything falls apart, crashed into the ground, a soul that carries bleeding wounds, un-healed scars that will last till death.
Pain that is hidden inside the inner rooms of the human, swallows each and every cell in the body, continues breakdowns, continues fights, endless series of failure! What do you think of this human? Simply, it is involved in a shocking, aching transformation to be just a soulless monster! Monster! Evil monster that everyone around shared in its creation!!
