Less than 2 weeks left for one of the strongest, and greatest Metal concerts in Egypt, Metal Blast Festival, October Round. The lineup includes: The French Heavy Metal icons Nightmare (who their career kicked off in 1979!!!), our Greek brothers, and sister the impressive Symphonic Metal band Dimlight, and our brothers of the great Egyptian Progressive Rock/ Metal band Medic, and the Egyptian Melodic Death band Segadoras. 

I won't comment on the tragic status XD Metal Blast Festival team received on social media regarding the ticket price, the voting, and the indirect or side fights :D. BUT, as I felt that Egypt needs to be more excited or the majority of the fans here don't follow the news! I think, this piece can renew your powers, and motivate you to attend. So, please meet my 5 reasons why the Upcoming Metal Blast will be Epic, and Unforgettable night!!!!!!!!!!

5- SEGADORAS COMEBACK TO ACTION!


The upcoming Metal Blast Festival will witness the return of one of the strongest, and most active bands in Egypt Segadoras. Segadoras (The Reapers) have their unique style of performance, and stage presence. The band faced 2 years of absence after their latest concert in December 2016. 

Known with their dynamic, darkened style, groovy tunes, and harsh vocals performance, Segadoras won the voting of electing a band to perform the opening act in the second round last month. I hope to see new material for Segadoras on the stage.

4- Heavy Metal Music is BACK to Metal Blast Stage Again!

Heavy Metal is somehow far or not common choice in mostly of Metal concerts in Egypt as the majority of the Egyptian Metalheads are more into EXTREME! So, Nightmare presence will satisfy the hunger of the old schoolers who want to attend a real Heavy Metal performance on an Egyptian Stage! 

Nightmare is a great name to be added in Metal Blast Festival record. Founded in 1979 and released more than 10 full length albums, Nightmare is one of the iconic French Heavy Metal bands.

3- Medic's 10 Year Work Comes to Light

Impressive Progressive Metal band Medic will officially launch its first album "Ascension" after 10 years of work, composing, recording, and editing. 

Medic's album attracts the ears of the majority of the Egyptian Metalheads since the first moment of the digital release. 

Medic's album has received dozens of good reviews, in addition they signed with the leading Arabic label Metal East Records.

2-Dimlight Comeback to the lands of Pyramids, New Album Release & New Vocalist 

In 2016, Dimlight performed for the first time in Egypt with their vocalist Eva, who got great feedback from the audience through their symphonic hyper tunes, taste of mythology, and active/energetic interaction with fans. 

This year, Dimlight will headline this unforgettable night but this time with their new vocalist Mora who takes the responsibilities of  Dimlight's new album "Kingdom of Horror".

"Kingdom of Horror" will be officially launched in the upcoming Metal Blast Festival. 

People who missed the first performance of the impressive Dimlight in Egypt, you have a second chance to catch them and listen to their new album in the upcoming Metal Blast Festival.

1- Metal Blast Festival is Open for European Participation Again 

After 2 years of the European participation absence from Metal Blast Festival stage due to different circumstances. Metal Blast Festival opens its doors to the European presence again in Egypt, as it is currently the only active Metal Festival on the lands of River Nile.

Also, Egyptian Metal fans will have the chance to buy merch, and another Metal-designed stuff as Egypt Svart will provide your favorite bands merchandise including: posters, rings, flags, keys chains, etc.

Before 2023 Edition, Get to Know Wacken Metal Battle Egypt History

On March 3, Cairo will see a new edition of Wacken Metal Battle Egypt. The upcoming edition is the fourth in the history of the Egyptian Metal scene. Although the local scene witnessed three editions, only two Egyptian Metal bands stepped into the global stage of the most prestigious Metal battles. As we are celebrating our comeback I think that it will be great to check a new part from our The Metal Divas series.
