Interview with the Georgian Progressive/ Melodic Death Metal band Infadus

It is my first experience with a Georgian band, that's why I am so excited to this interview. Infadus is Georgia's one of the most extreme bands. The concept of the group is a fusion of heavy/harsh  sounds of death metal and dark/nyctophyllic ambience with a progressive melodic style. In 2018, the band managed to release its first album "Intra Nether."

Thank you David, so A Georgian Metal band, Tell us more about the Metal scene in Georgia as major bands, organizers, concerts, etc!

Thank you for this interview. Well, in Georgia, Metal is scene is very evolved. There are many good bands. Metal music in Georgia comes from 1990, really good and talented bands were playing in our country. As for now we have fantastic bands from Georgia like Dismorial, Psychonaut 4, Tanelorn and etc.

In Tbilisi, there are some event organizers, who brought bands like Sodom, Tiamat, Jinjer, Walkways, Rotting Christ, Vader and etc.

In October 6, Stoned Jesus visits our country, and playing a gig, and Infadus is special guest on that event. Metal is not dead in Georgia, our fans give us a big motivation.

Let's talk about your band Infadus, How did the idea of forming a band come to your mind, and how did the members meet?

Well, I was 12-13 years old when I heard about Metal music, and I was very embarrassed.

Me and Beka (lead guitarist of infadus) were friends from childhood and we liked Metal music, so we wanted to make a band . then we met Guga (bass player) who was playing guitar, and we asked him to play on bass and he agreed.

After few months, we met Alexander (Drummer) who was 13 years old . In that month, I found George (vocals) who was in love with Dark Tranquility and his interests crossed our ways and we started making some stuff.  In 2015, Infadus was formed.

What are your main musical influences?

Our musical influences are too many bands and musicians. We don't listen only metal music, but I think, main musical influences for Infadus are Dark Tranquility, Opeth, Gojira but I think INFADUS is INFADUS !

So, How was the process of writing your album?

Process of writing the album was very exciting since it's our first one. Each and every member was involved in writing each and every second of the album.

Sometimes it's hard to make a decision on a particular issue, because every member has a different taste in music, so sometimes writing a music can take months.

But there are times that we wrote one of the tracks from album in a single night. I want to say that our music is our soul and we share and make it all together.

What are the main problems that you face?

The main problems we face is the financial side. Finances are the only problems that puts our imagination and creativity into frames.

But of course, we don't back down, and we try to look at it from the positive side.

we always find a solution for anything in cheap thinking, which needs a lot more creativity and effort.

Last year, you participated in W.O.A Metal Battle, tell us more about this experience?

Yes, We participated in W.O.A Metal Battle Caucasus. Participation in  W.O.A Metal Battle was a huge experience for us and it was a wake up call for Infadus.

The participation made us realize that we need to put a lot more effort in what we are doing.

Are you in contact with any Middle Eastern band?

Right now we're only friends with "WalkWays"

So, What do you want to say to your supporters?

We are incredibly grateful for every single emotion you make us feel at lives.

We are grateful for every motivational messages you write us. This is very inspiring and you are the one and only reason we work this hard to share our music to you. We love you.

Thank you guys for giving me this opportunity, and we wish you all the best

The Metal Divas: Female Metal Voices Around the World VII

As we are celebrating our comeback I think that it will be great to check a new part from our The Metal Divas series. This part is full of power with slight changes in our format to be easier to follow!     Adrastea (Greece ) A great voice shining from the lands of Hera and Zeus, Adrastea is rocking the Greek Metal Scene with her band Entropy Devine.  We  started with Adrastea by asking her about how she started her career.  "   I have been singing since I can remember myself. I was always a rocker so I remember I would always find a way to secretly sneak into music related activities.  I was not allowed to learn music, cause, you know  I am a woman and I should do all that society expects from a woman and nothing more.)  So I figured creative ways of doing so as a part of my Rock 'N Roll rebellion while  growing up,"  she answered. Next, we asked her about how she met her band mates.   " From an ad in search
