Background: Osiris History
Osiris is one of the oldest bands who started to compose their own original tracks in the late 1990s, most known for their track ‘Kadar’. Unfortunately, Osiris had many crises in their line-up, that led to split up for long years. Last Month, the old Egyptian Metallers received happy news regarding Osiris’ return. The band started its comeback with announcing Scott Taylor as the new vocalist, then Osiris announced its work on releasing new stuff.
The current line up is Scott Taylor (vocals), Isfet (Backing vocals, Guitars, Bass, Drums, and Orchestration), in addition to Ashraf Al Ziftawi as a guest member. Osiris confirmed its return by releasing new single ‘Forgotten Stones of Time’.

Then, the band announced the Egyptian rising vocalist Miral Nagy as a female vocalist for the band, and her angelic vocals will be featured on Osiris upcoming album.
Last Month, Osiris revealed a new piece of beauty entitled "Of Hate, Passion, and Eternity" which I am going to review now.
The Review
The track starts with a harmonious Egyptian blackened Guitar sounds, with powerful drums beats. In 00:50, you can enjoy with the beautiful clear, and clean Bass lines, this combination reflects in a good way different terms of hatred, blackness, and darkness.
I think, the track is composed to shed the lights on a phenomenal chapter in the ancient Egyptian history, the initial part of the Egyptian mythology, the story of Osiris, Isis and their all time battle against evil.
So, we are introduced to the first part which is eternal hate, conflict between good (Osiris) and evil (Set).
As the battle is increased, the music is turned to another level of darkness: faster tunes, and higher Drums beats and the beginning of beautiful keys, and impressive symphonic colors.
In my point of view, this part reminds me a lot of Dimmu Borgir style, the domination of Keys sounds in a Black Metal style, within extreme music.
2:14, it is the beginning of my favorite part of the track:
Vengeance fills the soul
In death
A victim of hate, of envy, of jealousy
He shall rule the afterlife
Grant him eternal life
He shall rule
This part carries spiritual emotional Guitar tunes, with beautiful catchy female spoken, vocals. Then, the great vocals of Scott enriched this part. Do you remember? we talked above about the Hate, so this beautiful wonderful part is the passion, and eternity of course is highlighted in both vocals, when the sounds of death, combined with the sounds of blesses of life.
So, mainly the sounds are harmonious, catchy, and well-organized, in addition, I liked the beautiful usage of diction such as the employment of certain words such as " Atum-Ra", "jealousy", "agony", "Pain", and "Nile".
In addition to certain structures such as " A life eternal", "Born of the earth and sky", "Pain and hate devour all", "The body dismembered in fourteen pieces", "Blessed with eternity", and "His soul essence of the Nile".
Moving to my only negative comment before my conclusion, I felt that the voice of the female vocalist is lower than the music, and the same issue appeared in the final part, the sounds of the instruments, and vocals, I felt they are somehow noisy.
Conclusion
The track is enjoyable one, carries beautiful melodies, nice harmony, and it is good composed.
